The short explanation of this alert was:

Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge in Maine and New Hampshire hosts an astonishing amount of wildlife, including bald eagles, loons, and moose, as well as endangered or threatened species such as the peregrine falcon, golden eagle, black tern, northern leopard frog, and marten.

This important habitat should be expanded under the management plan now being developed, and activities harmful to wildlife, such as snowmobiling and trapping, should be prohibited. Please edit our letter below (entirely or in part) to send a message to that effect to the Fish and Wildlife Service.
