The short explanation of this alert was: One-third of Colorado’s National Forests are roadless backcountry, beloved wilderness that provides vital habitat for fish and wildlife, and watersheds that supply clean drinking water.   At a time when we are celebrating the protection of roadless areas across the U.S., in Colorado, the future of our roadless areas are still in doubt.  It’s critically important that you voice your support for their protection to the U.S. Forest Service.   Please take the time to add in some comments of your own, which will add impact to your letter.  You can cut and paste from our talking points below if you wish.
